For her efforts in PRSA, she was recently awarded the Austin chapter's 2001 "Rising Star" award.

Chandra and her husband, Chris, live in Austin and enjoy spending time on the Hosek family ranch in Gonzales, Texas, where the conversation inevitably turns to Texas history, politics, culture, and sports.

Most memorable inspiration:
Doing your best, remembering your priorities, and sticking to your principles will guide you through anything.

Best career moment:
Discovering that public relations was a good fit for me.

Worst career moment:
Being temporarily stuck in a position where I had no more room for growth or advancement.

When not working:
Reading fiction, traveling, spending time with my husband and family, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys since birth.
